We look after apartments in Niagara Falls, and each one is a whole home rather than a hotel room. Full kitchens, room for a group, free parking, and the dog is welcome too. They sit in the old downtown neighborhoods a short drive northeast of the falls, which means you get a real neighborhood at night and the state park in the morning.
